For commissions, it really all begins with an idea. This idea can be anything, from a space in your home/office that needs that artwork that you’ve been dreaming about for longer than you can recall, or to an artwork that you envision to gift to someone special to you, This idea be anything, from a memory, a feeling, a special place or a subject, this idea is where it all the magic begins.

I specialise in creating statement artworks for your home and office, drawing from my experience of working within the Interior Design Industry to create unique pieces. If you have a particular space in your home that you'd like an artwork for, or have a vision for an artwork that you'd like, then you've found the right person and I'm here to help you bring that space and artwork to life.

SIZE & PRICE

Artworks are available in a variety of sizes, and we can go as small or as large as you would like to go. In general, the larger the artwork, the more detailed the final outcome will be . If you aren't sure about sizing but you have a particular space in your home where you'd like the artwork to go, I am happy to suggest you with a suitable size. If there is a particular size that you have in mind, please fill out the contact form with your idea(s) and I will be in touch shortly so we can further discuss this.

I can't wait to hear and discuss your ideas in further details, and to start creating that bespoke artwork for you or that special someone. The next step would be to fill out the contact form, or send me an email and we can discuss your ideas further. We can either meet in person here in the beautiful Garden City (Christchurch, NZ), or we can email, phone call or Skype, so no matter what part of the world you are in, we can start planning your custom and original artwork.

I'D LOVE TO COMMISSION SOMETHING, WHAT'S NEXT?

This can range anywhere from just a couple of weeks for a smaller artwork, to a few weeks for a medium sized artwork, or even a few months for an artwork that is of a larger size. The size and style of artwork you choose also contributes to the time it takes to complete it, for example a detailed realistic painting can take longer than an abstract minimalistic artwork. Creating your unique one of a kind artwork to the highest quality is my top priority, and so I work really hard to perfect it so that you will treasure it for a lifetime.

WHAT SHOULD I COMMISSION?

When considering what category, theme or subject to commission, the most important questions is who is it for? A commissioned artwork is such a special and personal piece, making it really important to know whether it is for your significant other, a family member, a colleague or yourself? I love to create artworks that make you happiest, capturing the beauty forever in paint or drawing.

HOW LONG WILL MY ARTWORK TAKE?

WILL MY COMMISSIONED ARTWORK BE FRAMED?

Since not everyone likes their artworks framed, I like to leave this option up to your own personal preference for paintings.
With my drawings, I believe it's important to frame them behind glass to keep them protected for a long time, otherwise they can be damaged.

For paintings on canvas, I think it's always important to first have the commissioned artwork completely finished before deciding to frame or not to frame. Once the artwork is complete, it is up to you if you would like to add on a floater frame; If so, I am happy to help you in deciding what colour or style floater frame would work best with your artwork. If this is something that you are interested in once your artwork is complete, I can get the extra cost of framing quoted for you, and I am happy to organise the framing if you wish to go ahead so that it arrives ready to hang and framed.

POSTAGE

RETURNS/REFUNDS

Paintings:

For Paintings it is important to keep them out of direct sunlight to ensure it does not get sun damage of sun fading. I would advise to wipe with a lightly damp cloth using only cold water, do not rub, do not use hot water

Drawings:
It is important to professionally frame drawings with glass, this ensures that your artwork will not get damaged over time from dust settling on the surface, as well as allowing you to wipe the glass with a lightly damp cloth.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR ARTWORK

I like to work with you and keep you updated and to send you photos throughout the process as well as once the artwork is complete so that you can see how it comes together. .As commissions are so incredibly personal and bespoke, the artwork(s) are non refundable and returns are not available once the artwork has been finished and delivered. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required prior to any commissions being started.

As every commissioned artwork is so different and personal, delivery costs can vary depending on the size of the artwork and shipping destination. Once we have a clear idea of the artwork and it's size, I will provide you with a quote for the cost of postage for your artwork, this will be tracked and signed for. Postage is available worldwide. If you are in Christchurch, I welcome pick ups if you wish to collect from my home in Halswell, this means that you don't need to worry about postage costs.
